Line of Events

Two criminal twin brothers, one trying to reform, embark on a dangerous journey of thievery. Facing legal troubles, gun battles and family drama, they must reconcile their differences before their mission leads to self-destruction.. Final film appearance of actor M. Emmet Walsh (Judge Farful). The brothers had promise and the potential for it.

Really solid cast

It started strong. The plot was quite interesting. I’m not sure if I should compare the films to generational classics or the rest of the junk available to stream in recent years. I feel Hollywood has never recovered from the writer’s strike and it shows. This movie is watchable due to the low content bar available.

They played their parts

Are comedies now responding to the stupor of society’s low IQ majority? If you enjoy high-brow humor like watching a grown man get ripped off by an orangutan, then you’ll enjoy this movie. If you prefer smart and sophisticated humor, you’ll roll your eyes. I don’t blame the actors. Dinklage is a real talent.

Brothers fails to attract you

Brolin shows the range playing a believable character who isn’t a tough guy with super powers. Marisa Tomei is great in everything. I wonder why she wasn’t credited. Fraser even brought out the shadowy guard. I’ve never been a Glenn Close fan, but it was her first before my era.

It’s slow and lacks any kind of movie magic that makes you care about the outcome. You can’t get invested in the characters' unrealistic situation. I’m sure the actors were desperate for a paycheck, but they’re all better than that. It had its moments and I made it to the end, which is saying something I guess.. The final season of "What We Do in the Shadows" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
