A powerful CEO puts her career and family on the line when she begins a torrid affair with her much younger intern. Jean Reno filmed scenes for the movie, but was completely cut from the finished film. I gave myself time to reflect on this movie as I value my precious time… if it were possible, I would not only request a refund of my money from the Zurich Film Festival, but also file a lawsuit for damages resulting from my precious hours wasted in vain. I must admit that Nicole Kidman’s acting style does not resonate with me (certainly, The Hours remains her only masterpiece in my opinion), so I was intrigued and curious to witness the reasons behind the Volpi Cup for Best Actress at the recent Venice Film Festival. I found the movie “Babygirl” to be laughably dull, vulgarly ridiculous, incredibly boring as it lacked any spark of sensuality due to its unconvincing performances and weak and predictable story.
