CIA agent Joe tries to balance his personal and professional life as the tip of the spear in the agency’s war on terror. Real military advisors helped make weapon handling, house cleaning, positioning, and squad more authentic. Reference: Premios Soberano (2024). I had to write a review because the writing, acting and action are so good! I’m a reviewer and movie/show watcher who approaches things from the “glass half theory”.
Amazing acting, dialogue, action!
This means I look at the positives first and then the negatives. I either like it or I don’t. There is always a middle ground. "Lion" not only is it far from average, it has everything! Zoe Saldana is sexy and beautiful, and like her boss, played by Nicole Kidman, both are badass women in American espionage and the military.
Both were top notch
Both are America’s defense against worldwide terrorism. What’s also helpful for the viewer is that even though it’s a cable TV series (Paramount), it’s a big movie budget. The production team does not waste its budget, the' streamlined, practical and flawless implementation of production value. As I mentioned in the title, it includes the "24" and "Columbiana"! Do you remember the TV show and the movie?
As a parent, I understand
I don’t mind family problems and teenage drama. It works fine for me. I keep thinking that the terrorists are going to get to Joe’s (Zoe Saldana) family. (I hope not, but I could see it happening) Obviously I haven’t finished the series yet. And I don’t even have to write this review.
"Lion" very good and I highly recommend it
This is one of the first reviews I’ve done and I have no problem with the content. My other criticisms of past classics and well done movies/TV shows are obvious. I haven’t checked, but I really want a second season for "Lioness"!!!
