Line of Events
Unravel the mystery of a town in the central United States that imprisons all who enter. As the residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive threats from the surrounding forest. The Beaver Bank Villa has a long history and many years ago contained housing, a community hall, fire station, school, church, convenience store, etc. (all demolished in 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s.

Cobblestone streets and driveways were all that remained, and the fake town was built on top of them. When Boyd enters a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well. A rope is thrown to him by (presumably) Martin in the room above despite the fact that his wrists are chained. are really cool
I’ve loved this show so far, and the acting, mysteries, etc. However, I’m starting to worry a little that it’s going a lot towards the “Lost” vibe. While “Lost” was also a fantastic show in terms of acting, direction, etc. In the end, what annoyed me was how much of the mystery was there just to be mysterious.
There’s a llama in a red hat who mutters the words “paleontological”; and “spatula”!
Watching the second season, I felt a bit bored every time another weird mystery was introduced, whether it was a symbol, an object, a thing, an event… mainly because I can’t help but think, “Will this be relevant in some way in the long run?” Is it just one of those where there’s a mysterious fog creature or a trapdoor or a light or something? It’s never mentioned or explained in any way, because that kind of mystery writing eventually bores me, since the writer can reach into his butt and pull out absolutely anything and never come back to it. and that’s it, forgotten about a season later, no explanation, it was just there to be weird.
Still, I’ll keep watching, but if this has an ending one day where it’s just at the level of “it was all in his head!” and there’s no attempt to tie some thematic logic to any of this, then consider this review at least 2-3 points lower
