Colin Farrell fought hard to have his own version of the smoking-smoking Penguin in Batman (2022), but he didn’t succeed

Line of Events

Following the events of Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin, is playing a game of dominance over Gotham’s criminal underworld. Aside from a bat signal in the final frame of the season finale, we never got our Robert Pattinson to star in “The Penguin.” In this short video, IMDb attempts to answer: Where the hell was Batman? For his own series, however, the character was portrayed as a casual tobacco user with a penchant for cigars.

This will go down in history in the same way that Heath Ledger’s Joker transformed this character

I wouldn’t have thought of this role, but Colin Farrell just gave the best performance of his career with an incredible interpretation of the Penguin. If he doesn’t clean up as Best Actor at the Golden Globes, SAG Awards, and everywhere else, he won’t appreciate how the producers, writers, and incredible makeup team helped Colin Torino deliver this amazing performance that will be a hallmark of his career and the reference role of the Penguin for the next 3 generations. P.
