Regardless, I’m halfway through the first season and it’s not as good as the books!

I was very hesitant to watch The Silo because I had such a vivid inner vision of this post-apocalyptic world in the books and I didn’t want to spoil it. What I’m saying is that the setting is there, the events and foundations that made the books great are great. However, most of the detailed story is completely new and embellished, filling in the gaps of things that were hinted at or ignored in the books.

So much of it was as I imagined

I’m glad I still keep a separate version of the books in my head and the show as a fun new version. I have to say they did a GREAT job with the casting and the setting. But the differences set the book apart and that’s what I like.

Super well done!

This is probably the first time I’ve been happy that the show isn’t exactly like the books, but I still really like the show.
