I had the chance to see this movie at a preview screening, and I’m glad I didn’t have to pay for it, because it was really mediocre. The bad taste is everywhere, which wouldn’t be a problem if there was at least a little bit of subtlety, but no, it’s just vulgarity for the sake of vulgarity, probably intended to please a certain type of audience.
In short, there’s not much to say about this French comedy
Of course Michèle Laroque and Gérard Darmon are experienced actors who have nothing left to prove, but what did they do in this disaster? A pleasant surprise, however, is the male lead actor, whom I didn’t know before, but he gives a solid performance and adds a little value to the film.
