Robbie Williams: If you’re going to laugh, do it in the middle, right?
Line of Events
An exclusive profile of British pop superstar Robbie Williams. The film is based on tapes of numerous interviews that director Michael Gracey conducted with Robbie Williams over a year and a half at Williams’ recording studio in Los Angeles, United States. Although the interviews were not originally filmed because Gracey “just wanted to capture [Williams] in his own voice telling his story,” most of Williams’ voiceover in the film comes from these recordings.
So full of life
Featured in the 7PM Project: December 5, 2024 episode (2024). I wish they could make more movies the way they did this one. The monkey really made a lot of sense and made it so much easier to understand the connection between us and Robbie.
Now for the monkey, the best part!
The raw, raw Robbie does it his way. The film is full of production value, life lessons, is amazing, and I repeat: INCREDIBLE music and dancing. It made the story more believable for some reason I can’t really explain.
What a great production
I didn’t feel like I was watching a monkey, but I definitely felt like I was watching Robbie Williams. I think the entire film crew should pat themselves on the back. I really can’t wait to see more of these.
