If it weren’t for his lousy and so sexualized daughter and ex-wife/mother. They serve no purpose to the plot and are simply annoying and insulting to the women of West Texas. Being a resident of far West Texas, I sort of understand where Sheridan is coming from, but it’s awful. The women of West Texas are some of the strongest and most ambitious women I know. Otherwise, the script and acting are simply fantastic. Sheridan could easily have gotten his hands on another Yellowstone if he had gotten rid of the very awkward interfamily signal. But again, I like that Sheridan writes (and plays) and for the most part it’s a very enjoyable series.
